Friends of the Battery

The Battery Conservancy is transforming 25 irreplaceable acres in lower Manhattan into the ultimate public space. In partnership with the NYC Department of Parks, New York State Parks and the National Park Service, it is rebuilding and revitalizing both the Battery's historic landscape and its major landmark, Castle Clinton National Monument.

The Conservancy's goal is to achieve design excellence and innovation by working with dedicated architects, designers, urban planners and the public.
