SUMMARY:Fall Family Volunteer Day at The Battery Urban Farm
DESCRIPTION:Join us at The Battery Urban Farm for some kid-friendly projects in the vegetable farm. This is a fun and active event for families looking to get outside and get dirty! Farm educators will lead participants in the tasks needed to keep our farm thriving for the fall – this could include everything from planting to weeding or harvesting and spreading mulch. No experience necessary! We recommend this event for ages 4 and up with adult supervision and participation; younger siblings are welcome.  RSVP is required for this event\, though you are welcome to arrive and leave at any time during the afternoon.  Please RSVP on our Eventbrite page.

The Battery Conservancy provides family tents\, telescopes for gazing at the night sky\, a campfire\, and s’mores!  The Ticket Lottery for the Campout will open on Thursday\, September 12th at noon.
