DESCRIPTION:Participants will learn about different types of bulbs\, how to properly plant them\, and how to design a beautiful spring display full of flowers. We will be giving out some small bulbs such as crocus and chionodoxa for registered participants who attend the event (while supplies last). \nRSVP is required for this event. \nLocation: Meet at The Battery greeter table with the striped awning near SeaGlass Carousel \nDirections: Please enter the park across from 17 State Street. Gabriel is an experienced birder and naturalist\, and is well-versed in the ecology and history of New York City.  He has been leading walks for NYC Audubon for more than ten years\, guiding new and experienced birders in all five boroughs and beyond.\n\nAfter the walk\, we hope you will linger to enjoy the nation’s largest perennial garden open 365 days free to the public.
