Run for Team Battery

The Battery Conservancy is proud to be an official charity partner with New York Road Runners for the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon! The course is a 26.2 mile block party through all five boroughs of New York City. By running for Team Battery, you have the opportunity to make your miles meaningful by supporting The Battery Conservancy’s mission of operating, maintaining, and programming one of New York City’s most iconic green spaces, The Battery.

As a Team Battery Athlete, You Receive:

• Coveted slot in the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon.
• Ongoing fundraising assistance and tips from The Battery Conservancy staff, along with a personalized fundraising page.
• Official Team Battery swag.
• Access to a private WhatsApp group for Team Battery athletes.
• Pre-race kickoff event in The Battery Gardens.

As a Team Battery Athlete, You Will:

• Commit to raise $4,000 by race day, November 3, 2024. All runners will be required to sign a fundraising agreement that acknowledges the fundraising requirement and deadline.
• Notify friends and family of your participation in the 2024 TCS New York City Marathon through email, social media, and conversations.
• Have the competitive experience of a lifetime.
