The Conservancy’s unique educational programs draw from The Battery’s history and diverse landscape, available to youths and adults. School programs align with Core Curriculum State Standards and Next Generation Science Standards. Join us at the oyster cages, monuments, farm plots, beehives, and gardens to enrich your classroom or community.
Join us for tours of our many important landmarks and monuments, bird walks with New York City Audubon, and yoga overlooking our magnificent perennial gardens and Lady Liberty.
Use our mobile and printable resources to explore this month’s blooms, or bring your family on a seasonal scavenger hunt through the park.
We welcome individuals, corporate groups, and noncorporate groups to participate in a variety of activities from getting your hands in soil as a horticulture volunteer to greeting some of our 7 million annual visitors.
The 2022 volunteer season is underway! Sign-ups for newcomers and returning volunteers alike are available online.
