Workshop at The Battery: Vegetable Gardening (and Eating!) with Kids

Learn to get children of any age engaged in gardening! Battery Urban Farm’s Educators will give participants insight on how we plant seeds, tend crops, harvest and cook with budding gardeners. Includes a raw cooking demo and tasting with produce harvested from Battery Urban Farm. This event will be structured in a workshop style, while the Family Volunteer Day earlier in the morning will engage participants more fully in completing farm tasks. Kids of all ages welcome with parent or guardian.
