Tuesdays and the first Saturday of the month: Orientation for new Volunteers: Get involved! There are many opportunities for individuals at The Battery, the beautiful historic park at the southern tip of Manhattan. Volunteers are an essential part of The Battery Conservancy team. Volunteer opportunities include gardeners, greeters, tour guides, and Battery Urban Farm.
Bring your families and your sleeping bags for a night under the stars in The Battery Backyard with adventures provided by our educators. The Battery Conservancy provides family tents, telescopes for gazing at the night sky, a campfire, and s’mores! The Ticket Lottery for the Campout will open on Thursday, September 12th at noon.
